The qualification is required for the exam the graduation in engineering stream from the approved university. There are four category of the ies exam
Category I�Civil Engineering.

Number of the attemption for the general category is the 4 times .

See,the age limit specified for this examination is 21 - 30 years as on 1st August of the year of Exam. Certain categories of candidates including Departmental candidates as specified in the Commission�s Notice are also eligible for age relaxation.
For the students of SC/ST and OBC category,the upper age limit has been raised by 5 years.
As your D.O.B is 17th June,it means that you'll be 21 yrs by 1st August 2012.
