Re: Can a 1st year MBA student apply for IAS/IPS exams?

    Hello

Yes you can apply for the IAS/IPS exam,as you are doing your MBA.
But the point is that MBA is post graduate course and you must have completed your graduation before going for MBA,as you can not go for a master degree in any filed if you do not have the graduation completed.

Now the educational qualification for the IAS/IPS is minimum of graduation from any stream
Hence as you have completed the graduation, you are applicable for the IAS/IPS bujt on the basis of the graduation degree.

Other than these when you enter the final year of the MBA,that is in the 2nd year you can apply as MBA degree holder, but of now you can not apply for the IAS/IPS.You have to leave your MBA and then have to apply for the IAS/IPS on the basis of graduation,or else being in the final year of the MBA or after completing the MBA.
