Well, as per mine suggestion is concerned, i guess no.
Since only Core trades of Engineering are allowed for IES.
Those are :
>> Civil
>> Electrical
>> Mechanical
No Variations are allowed except for Electrical one, since EEE are also allowed

Must be an Indian Citizen.
Both Male & Female are eligible to apply for this Exam.
Must have Age between 21 to 33 years for General category, 21 to 35 for OBC & 21 to 35 for SC/ST.

You should only satisfied following criteria of UPSC to take participate in IES exam
You must have technical degree like BE, B. Tech from recognized university or its equivalent.
You should have technical degree from following stream
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics and Telecommunication
Age should be 21 to 30 years
Age relaxation for SC + 5 years and OBC + 3 years and PH + 10 years
You must be Indian.
Exam pattern
Paper I Objective ( 600 marks)
Paper II Conventional (400 marks)
You can apply for UPSC exam through Online and offline application as per your convenience
