Yes if you are graduate from any stream then you can apply for the upsc examination directly. There is no any work experience and percentage will be shown in application form.

Any graduate directly fill the form in same way. But if you are sc/st candidate then you can be given some relief in age limit.

Graduation is the minimum required educational qualification.
There is no direct recruitment under any qualification.
Because there will a lakhs of competition for Govt.jobs , to overcome this competition commission will select eligible candidates by conducting various types of exams.
Any aspirant must apply for the exam and must qualify concerned exam to get recruited posts...

    Hi

UPSC exams are usually held by the graduates ONLY. So yes are per your question, I would say that GRADUATES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE UPSC exams.

Only the NDA- National Defense Academy is eligible by the 12th pass candidates ONLY and not graduates.

Rest you can apply for any exam you wish being a graduate. However the streams differ for the different requirements. There are many exams which are conducted by the UPSC like NDA, SCRA, IES, IPS, IAS, CDS, etc..

Re: Are graduates directly eligible for UPSC exams?

Dear Aspirant - Only Completion of graduation does not make anybody eligible to appear for UPSC exams because there are some other criteria's also applicable in UPSC exams which are required by UPSC board and you should have following eligibilities to apply for UPSC exam :

You must be the citizen of India

You should posses a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university/board/institute

Your age should not be lesser than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age would be provided as per government guidelines which is - 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

If you wish to apply for UPSC - IPS exam then you must have a fit and active physique and you should be perfect in medical test according to the Board and Government rules.

Means your degree is not important because there is a criteria for age also and if you have above mentioned eligibility then you can apply for the UPSC exams.

    Hello

Yes the graduates are very much applicable for the UPSC exams. In fact in almost every UPSC exams the graduation is the minimum criteria.

The different civil and non civil services exams that are conducted by UPSC have minimum educational required as graduation. You can apply after being a graduate ,specially in the civil services although there are few in which the post graduate is necessary but the number of them is very less.In fact Indian Economic Service is the only civil service that require a post graduate degree.

Hence the graduate candidates are very much applicable.
