To become an IPS officer you have to clear the UPSC Civil Services Exam. For CS exam there is no consideration of percentage, you just need graduation degree of recognized college or university.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Graduation in any stream with any percentage.

2. You must reach the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of exam and you should not reach that age of 30 years on that date. There is also relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates: 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

Yes you can apply for the IPS Exam After Scoring less marks in graduation because There is no minimum percentage is not required for the Civil service Aptitude Test(CSAT).so you don't worry about that just pass in enough to write this exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service Exam this exam is conducted by Union public Service Commission and this exam is conducted by every year.

Eligibility Criteria For IPS Exam:-

~~The Aspirants should be citizen of india.

~~The Aspirants should be complete the bachelor degree or engineering degree in any stream from recognized university and final year students also eligible for this exam.

~~The Aspirants age should between 21 to 30 years and upper age relaxation is applicable for OBC,and Sc/St candidates.

First of all there is nothing to be regarded about the marks which you need to have got in graduation as it is not mentioned as per the standards,but still you need to have got a fair percentage for writing the IPS exam.

As per the education qualification is concerned it is that you need to have completed a degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

There are certain other standards which are to be satisfied in order to be eligible for the IPS exam and they include such as:

civil service exam requirement the candidate passed the graduation in any stream form the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet.

the age limit for the candidate is 21 to 30 years.

3 years relaxation for the obc category.

5 years age relaxation for the sc category.

for the ips category there is physical fit required for the candidate
