age is between 21 and 30 years with sc/st getting 7 years age relaxation and OBC getting 3 years age relaxation

To become an IPS officer you have to clear the UPSC Civil Services Exam. For CS exam there is no consideration of percentage, you just need graduation degree of recognized college or university.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduation in any stream with any percentage.
2. You must reach the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of exam and you should not reach that age of 30 years on that date. There is also relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates: 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

civil service exam requirement the candidate passed the graduation in any stream form the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet.
the age limit for the candidate is 21 to 30 years.
3 years relaxation for the obc category.
5 years age relaxation for the sc category.
for the ips category there is physical fit required for the candidate
