Can I write any UPSC exams after completing diploma in CSE with one arrear?

hi
Sir i was completed my engg in cse dept with one arrear also im complete diploma. If i can write the upsc exams or not.?whether i m an eligible person or not to apply upsc exam.?

Diploma is not needed to write for the UPSC exam.

if you want to apply for the UPSC exam then you should be minimum Intermediate qualified.

At 12th level you can apply for the NDA and SCRA exam.

if you are graduation qualified then you can apply for the CSE, CDS, CPF exam.

No,you are not eligible for UPSC exams since you are pursuing diploma in computer science and engineering.To apply for UPSC exams candidates must have graduation in any one of the following fields-

Engineering-in any one branch.

Science-BSc in maths/biology/Zoology/physic/chemistry

management

Political sciences

Social sciences

Agriculture

Computer application-BCA/IT/telecommunication etc.

Age limit- you must have crossedmin 21 years

Yes, if you complted Graduation in any stream even engineering with any branch and with minimum pass marks also you can give UPSC examinations.After clearing of Arrears only you will degree certificate after getting of pass certificate you can give UPSC examinations.

By the way,, You can Appear in Civil services examinations with degree from any course .

There is no minimum marks,, you just have to pass to become eligible.

Hello

There are in all total two problems with you.
First is that on the basis of diploma,there are only two exams that is conducted by the UPSC,the two are 1)SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) and 2)NDA.
Now the second one is that as you have a current arrear,you can attempt for the written exam,but must clear the arrear before you faces interview.

The basic point is that diploma is only equivalent to the 10+2 and most of the exams conducted by the UPSC is of graduation level.
Hence you are not applicable for the most of the UPSC exams.

About the arrear,you will clear it and there will be no such issues further with the arrear,but as you only have the diploma as your educational qualification,it is enough to make you applicable for the other UPSC exams.
