diploma holders are not eligible for upsc examination because the minimum qualification required for upsc examination is graduation

and you are not a graduate candidate.

you have to complete graduation or engineering if you want to apply for the upsc exams,

eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:

candidate must be an indian.candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
final year appearing candidates can also apply for the upsc exams.
age limit for upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
candidates belonging to OBC adn SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

diploma holders cannot apply for the upsc exams.

diploma holder can participate in UPSC NDA and SCRA Exam.
but i recommend you to complete your graduation then apply for UPSC exams.
then you can apply for CSE, IFS, CDS, IES etc.

You are not eligible for the UPSC Exams after your Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

The Diploma course is considered as 10+2 equivalent, but in the UPSC Exams their is a constraint of certain subjects too.

Like : Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam require a 10+2 equivalent as academic eligibility; but it also mentions that you must have Physics and Chemistry as subjects in 10+2 course.

So I will suggest you to first complete your Graduation and then prepare your self for Civil Services Examination or other UPSC Exams that require Graduation as minimum academic eligibility.

Information Regarding UPSC Examination.

Diploma degree is not equivalent to the graduation degree. The minimum educational qualification to appear in the UPSC examination is graduation in any stream from a recognize university.

Eligibility Criteria for the UPSC Examination :-
->Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize university. Final year candidates may also apply.
->The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. Age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category candidates.

So, if you are a diploma holder then i advise you to first to do graduation degree then think about the UPSC examination.

Sorry friend your not eligible for this examination because you are the diploma holder that is the reason for your not eligible for this examination but you can complete the bachelor degree then you are eligible for this examination.

Eligibility Criteria For UPSC:-
~~The candidate age limit should between 21 to 30 years
~~The candidate should be complete the bachelor degree or Engineering degree in any stream from recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination and final year students also eligible for this examination.
~~The candidate should be citizen of india.

i am feeling very sorry for you to saying that you are not eligible for the same because diploma holders are not allowed to appear in the examination .

The minimum qualification needed to join the examination is graduation with a government recognized

college/university.

1. A candidate must be indian.

2. A person want to appear in the exam must be a graduate from recognized university(by govt.)



age criteria:-

1. Generals: 21_30years.

2. Obc(s) :- 21-33 years.

upsc requires graduated candidates or candidates who completed engineering from a recognized university,

diploma holders are not eligible for the upsc exam,
after diploma you cannot appear in a upsc exam,

you have to completed degree first then you will be eligible for the upsc exam,

along with that your age should also lie between 21 to 30 years.
if you belongs to OBC category then you will get age relaxation of 3 years,
then age limit will be 21 to 33 years,

if you belongs to SC/ST category then you will get age relaxation of 5 years,
