2. Quantitive Aptitude / CSAT
3. General Knowledge and General Awareness
4. Logical and Analytical Reasoning Ability
You have to focus on any two mains subjects which are separately having papers as English Language and General Knowledge and if you make your command and knowledge strong on these both subjects then it would be easy to crack your for various UPSC exams and to crack the exam you will have to be very strict about your study because Coaching Institute only may help you and show you the way to success but only you have to walk on that way to reach to the goal so you must start your study soon and start your study as -
First Month - 6-8 hours per day - with coaching institute
Second Month - 8-10 hours per day with coaching institute
Third Month - 10-12 hours per day with coaching institute
After third month you have to make a permanent time and schedule to prepare for this exam and give at least 15 hours for your study to be very strong and if you go to coaching institute then you should give at least 12 hours for your study with coaching institute time then your time would be about for 18 hours of study per day then you would be eligible to crack the prelims exam.
Exam wants a strategy to be cracked by the aspirant and if you have a better strategy for your exam and guidance of your seniors and teachers then you may easily be qualified in the exam and to make the strategy you should focus on 80% part of your complete syllabus as - if you are preparing for history subject then you should prepare two parts of your history - Middle History and Modern Study and don't worry about the ancient history because UPSC board does not ask more than 5-7 questions from ancient history but make yourself strong in both parts of history as mentioned above then you would be eligible for this paper and you have to follow the same strategy for other subjects but must read whole syllabus and study materials at once before the exam.

Hello
why this question is been asked?do you want to know that whether a man from a backward class can do such wonders; or do you want to know that whether the backward classes are applicable or not.
If the question is first one, then i must say that you are living in a wrong world dear, first in reality there is no such classes of human beings ,human beings only belong to the class of humanity and if there is any then that can not stop it from being a human, and a human can do anything, nothing was nothing ever will be impossible for a human being. So if you have a doubt about your abilities then there can be no answer for your question.
The second question-the answer that not only backward classes are applicable but also enjoys special privilege from the government, like in the age ,in the number of attempts they can make for the civil services,so there is no question in their eligibility, the only point is there mindset.
