Dear Aspirant
Being an engineer you are eligible for the Indian Engineering Service examination as the minimum eligibility criteria fixed by the commission is graduation in engineering from a recognised university in any dixcipline. Before I tell you important thing to I would like to tell that Indian Engineering Service examiantion is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment of engineers like Civil,Mechanical,ELectrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
I told you that since engineers are selected only for these services so you can give the examination in only any one of these four papers like Civil Engineeeing,ELectrical ENgineeirng,CIvil ENgineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.Since your branch is not belong to any one of these so you may try E&TC paper as most of the topics taught will be same.
You may also download previous years question paper from UPSC official websites(www.upsc.gov.in) and go through them. This will be of great help and guide you in right direction
