    Are B.E Electronics (Plain) students eligible for IES exam/recruitment?

    im doing BE in electronics (plain) engg..am i eligible for ies exam...

    Hello my Dear Friend ...


    Yeah

    Of course you are eligible to appear for the exam


    I.E.S -- INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES

    This IES exam is conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission " ..

    It held this exam every year


    And for this the below stream students are eligible


    (( )) Mechanical Engineering

    (( )) Civil Engineering

    (( )) Electrical Engineering

    (( )) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

    ...

    So as YOU ARE FROM THE ELECTRONICS STREAM no doubt .. you are eligible



    You must have Completed the Bachelor Degree ..

    And also the Final year candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam


    The minimum age could be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    Yes friend of course you are eligible for IES examination.You can apply for IES examination under Electronics and Telecomunication Engineering branch.

    The eligibility criteria for IES examination are:-

    1.You should be a citizen of India.

    2.You should have completed your graduation from any stream but from a recognized university.

    3.Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the same.

    4.The age limit is 21-30 years for General candidates.

    yes definitely you can apply for ies examination. the educational qualification required for ies examination is an engineering degree from an ugc recognised university.
    but you need to opt a stream from the below:-
    civil engineering
    electrical engineering
    mechanical engineering
    electronics and telecommunication engineering

    YES, You are Eligible for the Indian engineering Services (IES) Exams


    Educational Qualifications required to apply for this exams is:

    >> BE/BTECH pass in any stream
    OR
    >> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers
    Or
    >> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers

    Age-
    Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

    Dear Friend,

    Yes you are eligible for IES exam , for that exam candidates should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

    It does not matter that in which engineering stream you are passing your graduation only you should be graduate .

    For IES you should have to select any one subject :-

    Electronic and Telecommunication
    Civil
    Electrical
    Mechanical

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.
