The benefits that will be provided to you are :
1.In case of age all candidates belonging to OBC is given a age relaxation of 3 years that is for them age is 21-33 years where as for general candidate is 21-30 years and for sc/st it is 21-35 years.
2.No of attempts:
>>OBC candidate can appear for 7 times in the UPSC examinations like civil services IAS,IPS,IFS etc
>>For general candidate it is 4

The age limit for the UPSC examination is 21-30years. The upper age limit is 03years for OBC and 05years for the SC/ST candidates. But there are some attempts to appear for each category. There is 04 attempts for General candidates, 07years for OBC candidates and unlimited attempts for SC/ST candidates till the last upper limit age. Thanks....
graduates in any subjects form a recognized university under ugc within the age limit 12-30 years are eligible to apply for upsc exams like cds,civil services ,ifs,cpf etc this age limit is further relaxed for obc and sc/st aspirants by 3 years and 5 years respectively. but still there is a special no. of attempts for every candidate .

Below is the eligibility criteria to appear for the UPSC exams::
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:
Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe: upto a maximum of five years.
Other Backward Classes: upto a maximum of three years.
State of Jammu & Kashmir : upto a maximum of five years.
Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years
No of attempts allowed:
1. General - 4 years

Age limit for UPSC civil service, Police Service, Forest Service, Engineering Service & Economic/Statistical Service exam : Minimum 21 years and should not be more than 30 years
Age limit for UPSC Combined Defense Service - 19-24 years for IMA, 19-22 years for Naval and 19-23 years for Air Force Academy
