UPSC stands for the Union Public service commission and you have not mentioned the name of the examination for which you are asking about the no for attempts for a sc candidate.
From my point of view I think you are asking about the Civil services examinations.
The no of attempts in Civil services examinations for candidates of all category are as follows:
1.General:4
2.OBC:7
3.SC/ST: No limit in attempts.SC/ST candidates can attempt all the examinations that fall within their age limit.
OBC and SC/ST candidates also get relaxations in age criteria also.
General:21-30 years
OBC:21-33 years
SC/ST: 21-35 years.
In some other examinations like Indian engineering services and Indian forest services ,SC/ST candidates have same no of attempts.
The educational qualifications remains same for all category students.

UPSC conducts many exams like Civil Services, CDS,NDA etc.
The main eligibility criteria for many of these exams is any degree from recognized university.
The age criteria is minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years for general category.
There is age relaxation as follows
3 years for OBC.
5 years for SC/ST.
10 years for PWD.
Coming to the number of attempts for UPSC Exam
4 attempts are allowed for general category
7 attempts are allowed for OBC Category
No restriction for SC/ST Category.
So, as you belong to SC Category, there is no restriction for you on the number of attempts given for the exam.
You can attempt the exam as many as you can, until you satisfy the age criteria.

There is no rectriction to the number of attempts by an SC candidate to the UPSC exams
as far as they meet the eligibility criteria of age and other eligibility criterias.
All SC candidates are exempt from payment of any fees to appear in the UPSC Exams.
