Hello,
If your handicap is more than 40% then you can avail PH reservation in various UPSC exams. For civil services, IES, IFoS exams, the age relaxation is upto a maximum of 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped persons.
Also, female candidates are exempted from paying fee at any stage of these exams.
Thanks,

Hello Goyalk, you have mentioned that if the hearing handicapped is more than 40% then we can apply in PH category. I want to know does 40% means a total of 40% or one ear min 40%.
I am partially deaf, in my right ear the disability is 90% (means i can not hear from that ear at all), whereas in my left ear the disability is only 10%, so the average disability is 50%. Can I apply in PH category?
