diploma holders are not eligible for the same because the minimum qualification required for upsc is graduation from a govt. recognized university.

so dear you are not eligible for the same.

and also your height is not sufficient for the same.

>> You must have done Graduation from any Recongnised University by UGC . You are also eleigible if you are in final year of Graduation degree.

>> Age Factor for CSAT examination:

Minimum age : 21 Years
Maximum Age : 30 Years

Relaxations provided for OBC : 3 Yrs in Maximum Age
Relaxations allowed for SC/ST : 5 Yrs in Maximum age.

>> Total Number of Attempts allowed are : 4
Attempts allowed for OBC : 7
Attempts allowed for SC/ST : No limit.

>> You must have Indian Citizenship to appear in the examination.

Sorry friend diploma holder are not eligible to apply for the CSE exam.

Diploma is not equivalent of graduation.

To become an IPS officer you must be graduated in any stream from valid university.

Your age should be 21 to 30 years.

If you belong to reserve category, you can get relaxation in age

SC/ST + 5 years

OBC + 3 years

You must be Indian.



So first of all you should complete your graduation.

After that you can apply for UPSC CSE exam.

I am sorry to say that you are uneligible for IPS Exam.

Let me inform you the eligibility conditions to write UPSC IPS Exam.


1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must be a degree holder of any discipline from a recognized university.
NOTE: The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the examination.

3. Age must be between 21-30 yrs FOR General candidates. The upper age limit is 33 for OBC candidates and 35 for candidates coming under SC/ST category.

4. Physical Criteria:
Height: The male candidate should be 165cm and female candidate should be 150cm for general category candidates. In the case of candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC the height required is 160cm for male and 145cm for female.


Chest: Minimum requirement in the case of male candidates is 84cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm. In the case of female candidates the minimum requirement is 79cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.


Eye sight: 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for worse eye and 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. Near vision for worse eye is J2 and for good eye is J1.

all it requires passing marks on your bachelor degree....and hard work most appreciable
that you don't have UPSC do not entertains diploma degree....
you need to be a graduate and meet the other criteria's given below....
