No my friend , you are not eligible for the exam so that you can not give the exam because your age is below the criteria that is required .
The criteria for the UPSC exam is below :

-> -> one should done their graduation from any recognized university

-> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam .


-> age limit is 21-30 for general cast , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman , 10 years relaxion for physically handicapped .


-> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc cast and no limit for the no of attempts for the sc/st cast .

So as per your info your current age is 19 , so that according to above criteria , the minimum require age is 21 so that you have to wait still 2 years for giving the exam .

After that you will give the exam but you should fulfill the other criteria also .

But this 2 year you should prepare for the exam because UPSC exam is very tough and one have to do lots of preparation for passing the exam so that you should start the preparation now so that at the time of exam you will fully prepare .

at present you are eligible for the only scra exam . age required b/w 17 to 21

Age limit for graduate candidates is 0f 20-30 years.

there are following age relaxation also available-
Age relaxation-
5 years for SC/ST candidates
3 years for OBC candidates
5 years for defence service personals
10 years for physically handicapped candidates

age requirement for attending upsc exam is between 21 to 30 generally. You can attend nda exam if you satisfy other qualifications required because its lower age limit is 16.5 years. But for other upsc exams, you have to attain 21 years of age.

The eligibility criteria for UPSC Exams has many conditions on minimum academic qualification, age , number of attempts etc.

So your eligibility for any exam depends upon all the listed factors.

But as far as age limit is concerned each exam has fixed guidelines with relaxation for reserved category applicants.

The age is calculated with a reference date which is mentioned in the notification of Exam.

As for now, you're not allowed to write the Graduation exams because you're 19 years old.

The minimum age required to write those exams is 21yrs.

But you can write the exams like

1) National Defense Academy

2) Special Class Railway Apprentice.

according to your date of birth your age is less then 21 years which is making you not eligible for the upsc exams.

please read the eligibility criteria:

candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
final year appearing candiadates can also apply for the upsc exam.
age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

Well the age limits for the different upsc exams are different

And for some exams you are eligible and for some you are not eligible

Like you are not eligible for the civil services exam

Because for the exam the minimum age is 21

But you are eligible for the exams

Like Ima for which the age limit is 19-24

And for the ota 19-25

And for the nda exam is 16.5-19

Sorry friend you can not apply for UPSC Civil Service exam in this age.

You are under age for Civil Service Exam.

Age limit for Civil service exam is 21 to 30 years.

So you will have to wait for 2 years for Civil exam.


But in this age you can apply for CDS exam conducted by UPSC for Defense Services.

Age limit for CDS exam is 19 to 24 years.

You must have graduate degree in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

You must be Indian citizen.
