    My date of birth is 18th Oct 1993. In which year will I be eligible to give UPSC/IAS exam?

    i m 18 oct
    1993 born.....and i want to knw that in which year i m able to give upsc exam or IAS exam ?

    hello, after complete 18th October 2014 you can apply for UPSC/IAS EXAM. AND YOU SHOULD HAVE TO COMPLETE YOUR GRADUATION FROM THE RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY. after complete 21 years you can apply for exam. you must be an INDIAN. all the best

    sorry dear you are not eligible for the UPSC civil services exam because you are not completed minimum age. when you will completed your age then you are eligible for UPSC.
    other eligibility criteria is.
    must be graduate from recognized university..
    age 21 to 30
    age relaxation for obc 3 year and sc/st 5 year

    Dear

    You are not eligible for IAS Exam. Because you are underage.

    You are below 21 years so you can not apply IAS Exam in 2013

    You can apply this exam in 2014

    You can start preparation for the examination.

    I want to inform you that you are not eligible for Civil Services exam now.Because you are not eligible for UPSC Civil Service Exams you are not fulfil age criteria.


    So when you completed minimum age required then defiantly you can apply for this exam.


    Eligibility Criteria For IAS:-


    >>You should be graduate from a recognized University.
    >>Age should be 21-30 years and age relaxation provide for reserved categories.
    >>Nationality:Indian


    Note:- If you think you have completed eligibility criteria then you can apply in 2015 Civil Service Exam according to minimum age limitation.

    sorry to say but your not eligible for these exam but in 2014 you can appeared .


    QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:-

    you must have to passed graduate from the recognized university.

    AGE CRITERIA:-

    general = 21 to 30 years

    obc = 21 to 33 years

    sc/st = 21 to 35 years.

    Sorry dear you are not eligible for the UPSC civil services exam because you are not completed minimum age. When you will complete your age then you are eligible for UPSC. If you want to enter into UPSC then you should be a complete graduatefrom recognized university with any percentage. You should be Indian citizen
    Age limit: The age limit for the open category is 21-30
    and relaxation for the ph category is 10 years
    and relaxation for the sc/ST is 5 years
    Attempts for Civil Services
    General Category 4 Attempts
    OBC Category 7 Attempts
    SC/ST Category No Limits

    Dear Friend

    The minimum age limit for the UPSC civil services exam is 21 years .

    Since your date of birth is 18th october 1993 then you will eligible to give Civil services examinations in 2015.

    IAS stands for the Indian Administrative services.It is under civil services examinations.

    Essential qualifications;


    You need to have done your graduation from a recognised univeristy in any discipline.

    Final year bachelor's degree candidates can also apply for the exam.

    The age critria for the IAS :

    General;21-30 years

    >>Relaxation of three years to obc and five years to sc/st respectively.

    You cannot apply for IAS because your age is less than 21 years.Candidates minimum age for this exam -21 years.
    Age Eligibility-
    21 - 30 years.
    Age relaxation-
    For OBC - 3 years.
    21-33
    For SC/ST - 5 years.
    21-35.

    Qualification- Candidates must be passed graduation with any discipline stream such as science,Arts and commerce.
    Nationality - Indian.
    Gender - Both Male and Female.

    now you can apply for upsc exams,the minimum age for upsc exams is the perrson should be in between 21 to 30 years
    you born in 1993 oct 18th,you could wait some more time.now your age is 19 years,you have to wait 3 years.
    you can apply for ias in 2015 years

    The eligibility criteria is:

    Nationality


    A candidate must a citizen of India


    Age Limits


    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination. However there is relaxation on upper age limit of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/PD category candidates.


    Educational Qualifications:
    1.Candidates must hold a bachelor degree in any discipline form a recognised university.
    2.
    Number of attempts


    1.General candidates: four attempts.
    2.Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.
    3.Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.

    UPSC civil services examination is conducted every year by UPSC for
    the recruitment of IAS (Indian administrative services) and
    IPS (Indian police services) officers.

    This examination is basically conducted in two parts namely .
    Preliminary examination and
    Mains examination


    The basic educational qualification required to appear for this examination is
    graduation in any stream from a recognized university approved by UGC.
    It can be B.A, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com ,B. Tech etc .

    The age limit required to appear in this examination is 21-30 years
    for the general category aspirants

    Apart from that there is an age relaxation for the OBC and the SC/St category aspirants
    while appearing for this examination.
    On account of the age relaxation provided to them which is of
    3 year for the OBC category and of 5 years for the SC/St category .
    The age limit for the OBC aspirants is 21-33 years while for the SC/ST category it is 21-35 years .

    As in your case, according to your date of birth you have just crossed 19 .
    So you are not eligible to appear for this examination now .
    but you can surely apply for this examination just when you become 21 years old .

    As you may know UPSC civil services examination is the top most examination conducted by UPSC and
    have a very high competition and considered as a tough nut to crack.
    So since you are not eligible to appear for this examination
    you can start your preparation for this examination right away .

    You can not apply for UPSC exam.

    Age limit for UPSC exam :

    >>Age is between 21-30 years
    ST/SC gets 5 years age relaxation
    OBC gets 3 years age relaxation

    Hello

    The age limit minimum for any category for applying in the IAS is the 21 years for all category.
    Your birthday is on 18/10/1993,means you will be of 20 years on the 18/10/2013 and 21 years on 18/10/2014 and of 22 years on 18/10/2015.

    Now according to the UPSC,the candidate must attend the age of minimum 21 years before 1st August in the exam year,to become eligible for the civil services exams.

    In the year 2013 you will be of 20 years,then you can not apply for this year civil services in the year 2014 upto 1st August your age will be 20 years 10.5 months again not eligible for the year 2014,but in the year 2015 upto 1st August your age will be 21 years 10.5 months,hence can apply for the IAS exam in the year 2015.

    it seems that you have not proper knowledge about the examination so first see the age criteria , it will help you to know exact what you want.



    Age criteria:-

    for general category:- 21-30 yrs.

    for obc category:- 21-33 yrs.

    for sc/st category:- 21-35 yrs.


    so friend,


    as you see that the minimum age required for the same is 21 , and according to your age you age you will become eligible for the same after 2014 , so i advice you to prepare for it with full confidence and once you feel that you are ready than you should apply because there is a restriction of no. of attempts.



    No. of attempts allowed:-

    for general category: only 4 attempts.

    for obc category:- 7 attempts.

    for sc/st category:- no restriction.


    but remember these attempts are only given within your age criteria.


    but dear friend ,

    only satisfying the age criteria doesn't mean that you are eligible for the civil services examination.

    you have to satisfy the eligibility criteria also:



    eligibility criteria:-



    * you must be the citizen of INDIA.

    * you must be a graduate from a govt recognized university.
