Eligibility Criteria for Indian Engineering Service Examination 2013
Should posses a degree in any one of the - Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or
Passed Section A and B of the Institution Examination of the Institution of Engineers or
Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication or
Passed Associate membership examination Section A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India or
Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers - London
Your age should be between 21-30 years and relaxation in upper age as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC
This is the minimum requirement to apply for this examination and if you have then you can apply for this competitive examination under UPSC
Now if you ask about medical and physical standards to be eligible under this recruitment process so I would like to inform you that there is no such criteria or any fixed physical and medical standards like other exams - CDS, NDA, CPF, IPS etc. conducted by this board but according to the official notice, Candidate should be physically fit and medically cleared to be continue in this recruitment and in case of getting advantage of PH quota, you should have at least 40% or more disability.
