you can opt your engineering branch either civil, mechanical or electronics.if you want to go for arts subject you can chose public administration,history or political science

Dear Candidate
as a B.TEch graduate it should be better for you to choose subjects according to you capabilities to solve.
as a B.Tech student you can also choose civil engineering, electrical Engineering
if you want to easy subject then you can go for Political Science and history.
the UPSC also provide list of all subjects which a candidate can choose. for list of subject you can also visit to the full advertisement of the UPSC at the time of applying for it.
being a b.tech degree holder you are fully eligible for the upsc civil services exam..
you can choose any of the subject from the list of the subjects allowed by upsc for the aspirants.
but i think your choice should be according to your comfort zone .
you should be good enough in those subjects you choose for the exam because the exam is going to be really tough and a limited number of applicants are able to crack this exam.
the subjects like history,geography,Indian administration are high scoring subjects.
so you can chose one of these and second one can be one of your subject in your b.tech (graduation).
