you have the five years to give the civil service exam.
this the time you start the preparation and you note the important topic highlight on differnt registar.
dear you read the ncert books that is helpful you in the future for the general studies exam.

Yes you can apply for the NDA i.e. National Defense Examination conducted by UPSC for 10+2 candidates of science stream.
. Educational Qualifications :
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern
The age limit for these examination is 16 to 19 years. Remember only science stream student can apply for it.

Of course friend you can give the UPSC exam if you are from science subject.
Science is also including in civil service optional paper.
Now you are thinking for UPSC exam, it is quite good.
After 10+2 completion you can apply for NDA exam.
For this you should have math and physics subject.
No certain percentage required.
Your age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
You must be Indian.
After Graduation you can apply for CDS exam or also civil service exam.
For this you should be only graduation qualified in any stream from recognized university.
Final year student can also apply for UPSC exam.
Age should be 21 to 30 years
Age relaxation
SC/ST + 5 years
OBC + 3 years
PH + 10 years
Must be Indian.
Now you should clear your Intermediate exam with good marks.

if you choose science in +2 you have lots of benefits in UPSC.
you can apply for NDA and SCRA after +2 or you can also apply for NDA and SCRA while appearing in +2.
if you complete your graduation you can apply for IAS, IPS, CDS, CPF, IFS etc.
and if you do graduation in engineering you can also apply for IES exam.

with science stream in 12 th standard, you can apply for the following exams
1) special class railway apprentice exam
notification in february month and exam by july month
age: 17-21 years as on 1st august of the month you apply upper age relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST
must have passed +2 with maths and physics/chemistry as subjects
2) National defense academy exam
age:16 and half-19 years
you can enter into either army or navy or airforce
exam conducted twice a year in april and oct
with completion of science graduation you can apply for
1) civil services exam
2) combined defense services exam
3) central police force exam
