You must be a citizen.

There is no limit or boundation on the minimum percentage required in the graduation for appearing in the civil services examination conducted by UPSC in order to become IAS officer. It means that only Passing marks in graduation would be well enough to appear in this exam. Even you can be graduate in an any stream to appear in this exam. As per Government standards/guidelines the candidate must have completed at least 21 years of age but the age of the applicant should not be more than 30 years and reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidate.
