Yes you can appear for both the exams same

Year why not but both of the exams are very much difficult

And very hard hitting exams and need to work hard for both

CDS: Stands for the Common Defence services exam which

is conducting by the upsc department twice in a year

And on the the on the other hand CGL: Stands for the Common Graduate Level exam

The Qualification Required for the SSC CGL:

-The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized university

-The candidate of the final year can also apply for the exam

-The candidate should be a citizen of India

-The candidate age should be between 18-27

-Also for the obc 18-30 and for sc,st 18-32

-And for the ph candidate it is 18-37

The Qualification Required for the CDS Exam:

-The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized university

-And for the Indian Naval and Air force the candidate also have physics and maths as a subject at 12th level

-The age of the candidates should be 19-24 for IMA

-For the Indian Naval 19-22

-For the Indian Air Force 19-23

-For the Ota 19-25
