    Hello ,

    AGE LIMITS FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORY , ARE LISTED BELOW :

    > > FOR GENERAL CATEGORY : 21- 30 YEARS

    > > FOR OBC : 21-33 YEARS

    > > FOR SC/ST : 21-35 YEARS .

    There is also limitation in number of attempts , these are as follows :

    > > FOR GENERAL : 4 ATTEMPTS

    > > FOR OBC : 7 ATTEMPTS

    > > FOR SC/ST : NO LIMITATION .

    the maximum age limit for a general candidate for upsc exams is 30 years,
    for obc the maximum age is 33 years, for sc/st the maximum age limit is 35 and for pd category the maximum age limit is 40 years.

    Dear
    The eligibility criteria for IAS is :
    1.You must be a Indian Citizen.
    2.You must have attained the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of exam and must not have exceeded 30 years of age.However age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC category and 5 years for SC/ST/PD category.
    3.You must a minimum graduate from any recognised university.

    The number of attempts is limited to 4 for General category,7 for OBC category and unlimited for SC/ST/PD.

    Hence for general category the maximum age is 30 years
    for OBC category the maximum age is 33 years.
    for SC/ST/PD the maximum age is 35 years.

    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
    The Age limit Criteria for Civil Services Examination is as follows:

    General 21-30 yrs
    SC/ST 21-35 yrs
    OBC 21-33 yrs
    PH 21-40 yrs

    UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam for the post of IAS. The exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:

    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

    AGE LIMIT:

    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    Dear Aspirant

    Minimum age limit is 21 years however upper age limit is 30 years which has been relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST
    In nutshell

    The age limit for giving the IAS exam is as follows, according to the various categories
    For general category= 21-30 years
    For obc category= 21-33 years
    For sc/st category= 21-35 years
    The number of attempts that are allowed to give the examination are
    For general category= 4
    For obc= 7
    And for sc/st catgory= no restrictions

    civil service exam is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC every year. IAS is one of them

    Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum qualification required to apply the exam.

    Age limit:
    For General - 21 year to 30 year
    For SC/ST - 21 year to 35 year
    For OBC - 21 year to 33 year

    The upper age lit is relaxed for certain other categories.

    The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    Dear friend IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year through Civil Services Exam.

    Age imit:-

    Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

    OBC category candidates age shoud be between 21 years to 33 years.

    SC/ST category candidates age shoud be between 21 years to 35 years.

    Eligibility criteria:-

    Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

    Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

    Number of Attempts:-

    General category candidates - 4 time

    OBC category Candidates - 7 time

    SC/ST category candidates - No limit.

    THE AGE LIMIT FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORY FOR UPSC EXAM

    4.For Physically Handicapped:-21-40 years.


    So these are the age limits for different categories for the UPSC exams.
