Is it possible for a candidate to appear in Civils recruitment every consecutive year? Can I appear in the prelims of the same year in which I failed to clear Interview?

After failing in the interview in year 2013, a candidate can appear for the prelims in 2013 again??
What I want to know is , is it possible for a candidate to appear every consecutive year??

Yes you can give the exam of UPSC after failing in the interview.

There are number of attempts for the candidates in the UPSC exams are given below:-

For General:-4 attempts

For OBC:-7attempts

For SC/ST:-No limit

So you can give the exams till your attempts are not finished.

Yes, you can apply for Preliminary examination with failing in Interview also.
But you have to be comes from Preliminary examination folwd by Mains examination and interview.

You can give preliminary examination up to limit of attempts.
04 for General
07 for OBC
no limit for SC/ST

if you have not clear interview, try again by applying upcoming civil services exam.

civil services exam is open .
