You have two more years for preparation, since in you final year you can apply for the prelims of civil services.
Since according to new curriculum emphasis on general studies is given more so stay updated with the current affairs, read THE HINDU daily, select your optional subjects and study them thoroughly, enhance your essay writing skills and develop a good personality.

    Dear Friend

Yes,why not you can definitely prepare for the Civil services examination preparation.Really it is good thing ,I will appreciate it as you will be eligible for the Civil services examinations after two years that is in the final year of your bachelor's degree so you have almost two years for the preparations.

The age limits for the exam is :

General:21-30 years with only four attempts for the exam

    OBC:21-33 years with seven chances.

SC/ST: 21-35 years.no limit on no of attempts

You must be an Indian citizen

You can prepare for the exams by joining the best institutes for preparation or if you are able then you can do by self study also. Some of the best institutes are as below:

    1.Rau's IAS study circle

    2.Chanakya's IAS academy'

    3.Vajiram and Ravi IAS academy

    4.Khan study group.

    5.ETEN IAS academy.

    >>From now make a habit of reading newspapers, listening to news channels ,reading magazine like CSR,Chronicle etc.

    >>Devote yourself completely towards the preparation then only you will be able to crack the exam.Minimum of 8 hours study is required according to experts for the civil exams.

For any other details regarding exam ,you can visit www.upsc.gov.in

    Hello dude ...

Currently you are pursuing B.Com 1st year Right Now

So as of now you are not eligible to apply for it

YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM GRADUATION

So first try to Complete it

Then you can apply for the exam

You can also apply for it when you are in the Third year also ...

And there is a Relaxation for the reserved candidates

You must be an Indian Citizen

If you want you can prepare for the exams from now itself

    VERY GOOD LUCK
