So, the offline process has been discontinued.

UPSC also have acquire the online process because for saving time and money.
It saves so much time ,papers,money,labour etc.
The records can be maintained by UPSC for a long time.
The only reason of making everything online by UPSC is for time saving and for making reliable for peoples.
