Sorry Chemical engineer is not eligible for IES only Civil, Mechanical, EC & EE branches are eligible but you can apply for other upsc exams. for notifications visit upsc.gov.in.

There are four categories in IES examination i.e. Engineering Services Examination.
1. Civil Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Electrical Engineering
4. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
I think you should go for IFS exam Indian Forest Examination because a chemical Engineer Is highly required in this examination.
You can also go for the IAS/IPS examination for the Indian Administrative Services or Indian Police Services.

Sorry but you are not eligible for the IES Exams.
BTECH HOLDERS OF ANY OF THE FOUR STREAMS-CIVIL,MECHANICAL,ELECTRONICS & TELECOM AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE IES EXAMS.
But you can surely appear the other UPSC exams such as the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS AND THE IFS EXAMS.

i am very sorry to say that the chemical engineers are not eligible for the same because there are only four type of engineering graduates are eligible to apply .
1. electrical engineer.
2. civil engineer.
3. electrical &electronics engineering
4. mechanical engineering.
so you are not eligible for the same because you are a chemical engineering graduate .
but dear friend don't get loose your heart you can apply various upsc examination given below:-
1. combined defence services examination.
2. indian forest services examination.
3. central reserve police force examination.
4. civil services examination.
