Well dear history is the ever green subject for civil services exam.it always provides a very good result and it is very interesting also.a student from any background can take this subject.geograpy is also good but is neither easy nor interesting.a student who have geography background should only go for it.

It is also higher scoring and popular subject for the civil service exam
Study materials of these subjects are easily available from the market and internet.
You can take both subject together, there is no issue in the civil service exam.
