yes you eligble for IES

HI friend,
The person who is going to be write the exam must have the age between 21 years to 29years.
after releasing notification if u have age less than 29 u are eligible to the exam.

dear friend,

according to UPSC notification the age limit for IES exam is 21 years to 30 years on 1 January of the year of exam.

it means that you must have attained the age of 21 years on 1 January and you should not reach the age of 30 years on same date(1 January).

as now according to your date of birth ,you would reach the age of 30 years on

15-06-2013.

So you can apply for IES exam in 2013.

if you complete the engineering degree then defiantly you are eligible for the exam.

There are four categories in IES exam:

Category I�Civil Engineering.
Category II�Mechanical Engineering.
Category III�Electrical Engineering.
Category IV�Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

28.06.2013 (FRIDAY) 01 DAY : General Ability Test (2 Hour & 200 Marks )
