    dear friend,

    yes, you can apply for UPSC IAS exam being a private student of B.Com,
    for that your college or university must be recognized
    and your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    yes you can apply for upsc ias exam. But your college or university must be recognized.you can also apply in other exam also like

    1.cds
    2.ips
    3.ifs
    4.afcat

    Yes it is possible for you to do it, just make sure your university is recognized by ugc and aicer in india. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years of age. Your nationality should be indian.

    yes dear you can apply for upsc IAS being a private student as attained the basic eligibility for upsc exams ,for more details just read the info below:


    Eligibility criteria for IAS exams is:
    1.Graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
    2.Final year appearing students can also apply for the upsc exam.
    3.Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
    4.OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.

    Selection procedure for IAS:-

    To be an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Examination which further consists of two parts.. namely:
    1.Preliminary Examination
    2.Main Examination

    Hello friend,
    Civil service exam is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC for recruitment to various All India services. IAS is one of them.
    Educational Qualification:
    1.The candidate must have posses a bachelor degree course in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
    2.Those in final year of a degree course is also apply for the exam.
    3.The students who are complete the graduation through Distance education & in Open university is also eligible for the exam.
    so,you should be eligible to apply for the exam after Graduation in B.com.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you can write the ias exam as you are a b.com

    private student because for the exam you just need a

    graduation degree and their is just one condition is that

    the candidate must be pass in the graduation degree

    and it does not matter that from which university we have passed the

    graduation degree the point is that the university must be a recognized university

    Education Qualification:

    -The Candidate should be pass in the graduation from a recognized University

    -The Person of the final year of degree are also eligible for the exam

    -The person just need to be pass in the degree with passing marks

    Number of Chances:

    -For the sc,st their is no restriction

    -For the obc their is 7 chances to attempts the exam

    -For the general their is 4 chances to attempt the exam

    Age Qualifications :

    -The Age of the candidate should be 21-30

    -And for the obc 21-33

    -And for the sc,st 21-35

    -For the ph candidates 21-40

    Citizen:

    -The Candidate should be Indian

    Dear aspirant , You can definitely apply for the civil services examination as graduation in any discipline is required to apply for the same.You should only need to fulfil the age limit like 21 to 30 years of age is required to apply for the same. Age relaxation would be 5 years and 3 years for SC/ST and OBC respectively. You should not have any criminal records.You must be a citizen of india.     yes you can apply for UPSC exam .it does not matter whether you had completed your graduation from government or private college.

    you need to crack the entrance exam=name "civil service exam"

    its criteria requirements are=

    age limit is 21-30 years

    educational qualification=any bachelor degree from recognized university

    % required=no bar

    should have cleared all subjects

    must be medically fine in all aspects

    must be indian

    both men and female can appear for the exam


    this exam consists of

    a)preliminary test
    b)main exam
    c)interview

    Being a private student of B.com degree you are eligible to write upsc ias exam.

    Minimum qualification requirement for ias exam is bachelor degree.

    Upsc allows all type of graduation degree, Private, regular, corrospondance etc.

    Upsc allows all stream graduation, arts, commerce, science, engineering etc.

    The only condition set by upsc is that the university should be government approved from where you have done graduation.

    In regarding to eligibility, age limit is also important.

    Minimum age should be 21 years.

    Maximun age should be 30 years.

    Upper age relaxation: 3 years to OBC.

    5 years to SC and ST.
